FloraSeal^® Microbial Sealant is a sterile, liquid microbial sealant intended for use after topical operative skin preparations with standard surgical draping and prior to a surgical incision. FloraSeal sealant is used to reduce the risk of skin flora contamination throughout a surgical procedure. Long-lasting protection and bacteria log reduction allow FloraSeal to be the ideal choice for pre- and post-surgical safety.

  Shown to immobilize bacteria in in-vitro studies with gram+ and gram- bacteria and fungi including MRSA, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, and Corynebacterium pseudodiptheriticum, to prevent those inadvertently introduced from migrating into the incision.³
